A

AI Flow Builder

The assistant used while authoring a flow; it is distinct from the bot handling a live conversation.

See: AI flow builder, Diagnose flow assistant availability.

Answering-machine detection

Detection of voicemail or an automated answer. The current Delphi flow and SIP transfer interfaces expose no built-in detection control or result.

See: Limits.

Application

The product object that associates a flow with entry points and application settings.

See: Understand the building blocks.

B

Barge-in

Caller speech that interrupts the assistant audio under the applicable speech settings.

See: Choose a channel and AI provider configuration.

C

CDR

A call detail record describing a call outcome and its associated identifiers.

See: Log levels and object structure.

D

Documentation edition

A set of documentation delivered under a particular access and release context.

See: Get access to the right team and.

Draft

An editable flow definition before a deliberate publication step.

See: Save, test and publish a flow.

Drain

A maintenance step that stops new work while existing work is handled according to the service policy.

See: Maintain capacity during a refresh.

DTMF

Keypad digits carried using the transport supported by the call path.

See: DTMF collection in SIP flows.

E

Egress

The outgoing direction of a connection or call.

See: Configure SIP trunks and routing.

Entitlement

An eligibility condition for using a product capability, separate from the permission to edit it.

See: Understand feature availability and missing controls.

Entry point

The selected way a caller or client reaches an application.

See: Configure application entry points.

F

Feature flag

A deployment control whose effect depends on its individual implementation.

See: Understand feature availability and missing controls.

Flow

A definition of conversation steps, transitions and the data they exchange.

See: Build and edit a flow.

Flow Builder

The editor used to arrange steps and configure their inspectors.

See: Build and edit a flow.

I

Ingress

The incoming direction of a connection or call.

See: Configure SIP trunks and routing.

L

Liveness

Whether a process is responding to its health check, which does not prove a complete call succeeds.

See: Check service health and intervene safely.

M

Media

The audio exchanged during a call, distinct from its signaling messages.

See: SIP signaling and media reference.

O

Outbound campaign

Calls initiated to a list of recipients. Delphi's current outbound egress configuration serves transfer legs of existing calls; it does not schedule such campaigns.

See: 1. Choose where the transfer is configured.

P

Portal

The deployment administration surface used for configuration and feature profiles.

See: Deploy, verify and update Delphi.

Provider fallback

A configured alternative speech provider used on a supported failure path.

See: STT and TTS fallback providers.

R

Readiness

Whether a component can accept the intended work; a running process alone does not establish this.

See: Check service health and intervene safely.

REFER

A SIP method used by a supported call-transfer path.

See: Transfer a call.

S

SAML

A sign-in federation protocol. TelWeb exposes local credentials and Microsoft Entra ID, with no direct SAML or Okta provider.

See: Check Microsoft Entra prerequisites.

Scaler

The component that evaluates and changes configured service capacity.

See: Plan capacity and maintain the fleet.

Server group

A collection of service capacity configured and managed as a group.

See: Configure a server group.

SIP signaling

Messages that establish, change and end a SIP session.

See: SIP signaling and media reference.

SIP trunk

A configured telephony connection used to identify or route calls.

See: Configure SIP trunks and routing.

SRTP

Protection for RTP media; SIP signaling encryption is a separate concern.

See: SIP signaling and media reference.

STT

Speech recognition that produces text from incoming audio.

See: Configure modular speech recognition.

T

Tasker

The component responsible for background jobs and recurring schedules.

See: Diagnose background jobs and recurring schedules.

TelPhi

The conversation runtime component on the voice host.

See: Operate the voice services (TelSys, TelPhi, AudioProc).

TelPro

The telephony edge service role.

See: Edge components.

TelSys

The telephony component on the voice host.

See: Operate the voice services (TelSys, TelPhi, AudioProc).

Terminal failover

A final call action after the applicable failure handling is exhausted.

See: Configure final call actions.

TLS

Transport encryption whose certificate and protocol requirements depend on the connection being protected.

See: TLS versions, cipher suites and certificate checks.

Trace

Correlated evidence across components used to investigate a request or call.

See: Logs and diagnostics.

TTS

Speech synthesis that produces audio from text.

See: Configure speech synthesis.

W

Webhook verification

Checking a request at the receiving service. Delphi's webhook node can send configured credentials, but supplies no automatic signature or replay-protection scheme.

See: Webhook: request an HTTP service.
